Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, VDMIL has grown into an engineering-led vertical mobility company that stays closely involved at every stage of a project - design, manufacturing, installation and after-sales service - rather than handing that relationship off to third parties. That approach now extends across Maharashtra, into other parts of India, and into Bangladesh.
From high-rise passenger elevators to hospital-grade bed lifts, industrial freight elevators and escalators for commercial and transit spaces, VDMIL's product range is built to match the specific demands of the building it serves - not a one-size-fits-all catalogue item.
That range also includes capsule, home, car, marine, hydraulic and machine-room-less (MRL) elevators - covering both new-installation projects and modernization of existing systems, so a building doesn't need a full replacement just to bring an older elevator up to current performance and safety standards.
VDMIL's after-sales service follows the same principle as its installations: comprehensive and non-comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts, scheduled inspections, and a direct WhatsApp line for urgent breakdowns - so support doesn't end once a project is commissioned.

VDMIL Group India was founded in 2008 by Mr. Vikas D. Mahajan, starting from Pune, Maharashtra. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a manufacturer of elevators, escalators and moving walks, with operations now extending across India and into Bangladesh.
Mr. Mahajan's approach has centered on building VDMIL as an engineering-led company - one that stays closely involved in the design, manufacturing and after-sales service of every system it installs, rather than outsourcing that relationship to third parties.
